Real Food, being a Swinger, and Dinner Parties

We are not technically feeding you solid food, but you have now seen it a few times, even had it in your mouth for a brief period. Can't say that you ate any of it, but you certainly had it in your mouth. No hurry, we just wanted you to have the opportunity since you stare at us so intently when we eat, and plus it made for a great photo opportunity!
























And, what a little swinger you are!! Josh, Stephanie, and your little friend Peter lent us his bouncy swing, and you have been in it a couple of times now that you can actually hold your head up by yourself. I think in this picture you look like your cousin Owen.


And you are already a California girl, starting to learn how to surf.










And really, seriously, I mean it, would you please stop being so darn cute. Really. I can't use that word anymore, people start rolling their eyes at me. But seriously, you are adorable.





This weekend Amy and Gary and Christina came all the way down to the burbs for a little potluck action and to hold you. You still haven't gotten to meet AlterGary, which is probably for the better but we'd prefer you meet him in a controlled setting. AlterGary is kind of like Gary, much more unpredictable and difficult to hold a conversation with, but a hoot to follow around.
You have been an angel, as usual! Keep it up, and now I need to get that bottle warmed up and get you topped off for the night!
