Catching up quick now, good thing too! By the time I get current, you'll fit into these shoes of your mom's that you love so much. So last weekend it was rainy. We needed a Destination. Of course, in this area there are many destinations, but we wanted to choose one of the good ones.
We ended up at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Good choice. There was a climby-crawly room where you could run around, and that's where you found the barrel of fish. Not being a shy one these days, you immediately went up for a closer look.
But the real fun started, of course, when we got to the water. And the balls. Two of your favorite things!! So needless to say, you were excited. They have all these chutes and tubes and vortices and tunnels and falls and such, with these colorful balls everywhere. And they all do neat things when you throw them around. Like this station, with water that shoots up and held the balls suspended in midair.
Or, if you are Maya Havener, you can dispense with the balls altogether and use the fountain as a means to an early shower. Did we mention you love the water?
Later, it was time to play. Which means, time to figure out what you want to play with. Sometimes, the best way to figure that out is get as close as you can to the toys, to make sure you aren't missing anything...Yup, that'll do. Ok, time to move on!
You like your baby. And you like scarves, headbands, hats, necklaces, bracelets, or pretty much anything you can pretend to be dressing up in. So momma helped you out with this scarf and I dare say you look dashing. We went to Golden Gate Park this weekend and it was beautiful, and we even went to the Japanese Tea Garden, where we've never been. It was fun, and we got lots of great pics. But not tonight. Daddy leaves for Chicago in the morning, and has lots to do. Ok then, until next time!
