Today was a BIG day in MayaLand! And I'm not just talking about the REI sale you and your mom went to. Oh no, after that she took you up to Burlingame, for your very first haircut ever. Here is the before picture, you with your hair all over the place, and those long long bangs.
Then you got there, and your mom could tell right away that you were very excited to have your hair cut. I guess this is one of those pivotal moments, "will she cry in the chair?" Yes, unfortunately, but it was over before you knew it.
And what a nice new look you are sporting! Your dad thinks it is mighty cute, and you don't perpetually look like you have bed head now!
This was actually taken before you went for the haircut, but I'm so far behind and it was just so cute. You like water, a lot.
We're going to take you to Santa Cruz tomorrow, to go see the boardwalk and all their rides (four rides for kids your age, Maya, including a 'helicopter' ride and a merry-go-round, so we think you'll have quite a time). Plus we'll go to the beach, and we'll eat fish tacos. Fun fun fun!
