Aaaaaamy! Aaaaaaaaaaaamy! Memorial Day, part 2

This is a bit of an experiment. We'll see how it goes. I uploaded a bunch of pictures into Google (well, Picasa) right from my pictures. So if it easy to see these, and you like it, please do let me know. There are some things I'm still looking for, like I don't know how to put multiple thumbnails here yet to go along with my cute stories and diatribe. But I need to get this posted.

'The Neighbors' Memorial Day Cookout 2007

Here is a link to the gallery. In terms of the commentary... For one thing, I should go on record and let you know that at this point in the summer, you LOVE Amy Strickland. Even today you have been picking up your 'phone' and calling for 'Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamy!!!!!'

You and Peter Litwin played and you two traded some knowledge on how to frighten and exhaust your parents. Peter's baby sister and parents were there too! We ate and ate and ate, and every time you made it outside (you sometimes wanted to go outside when Amy was working the grill - what a coincidence!) you ran across the catwalk and tried desperately to get into both of the units we used to occupy Back In The Day. That was kind of eerie, it was like you knew you'd been there before. Some friends of theirs came over we haven't seen for a long time, and they have a baby now too! I'm starting to think it is contagious.

It was really nice and thanks to Tim and Amy for being such gracious hosts and allowing Maya to do her part in destroying their home. It was fun to be back in the city on social time!
