| Sonoma and Gampy - See the whole album! |
Well, it was fun at the beach but Momma had made big plans for the weekend. She found us a rental house in Sonoma, right in the middle of wine country and close to the race track where Daddy and Gampy have Nascar tickets! So we headed up to the city, over the Golden Gate Bridge, and through Sonoma. We stopped at the bridge to let Gampy check it out. Pictures were taken, Maya was being cute, it was good fun.
We got to the house, and Gampy showed you how to fly airplanes. Gampy is really good at making things fly.
We relaxed at the house, which was pretty easy. As you can see, it was a very nice and rustic setting, not a whole lot going on to distract us from our relaxation!
Momma found this, and really we were just beside ourselves. I mean, to be staying within a mile of the intersection of Treehaven Lane and Treehaven Court! In fact, on my car's navigation system, it said Tree Haven Lane. That is even cooler!
And we explored a little bit. Downtown Sonoma, which was real nice, and we got to get ice cream and that made it even better. There is a little park in the square, so you got to swing, and I got to take pictures of your Gampy, which was nice since we don't get to see him very much! Here he is out in front of Sonoma City Hall.
What a nice weekend! And don't forget, tomorrow Gampy and Daddy get to see the Nascar race! Ok, I'll post a few pictures here of that, but not too many since you didn't come with us. Be patient, your daddy is going to take you to see plenty of car stuff!
