| From Saturday 5-3 |
So first, let's start with the Farmer's Market. There you are, in your blue baggy hat which you insist on pulling waaaaaay over your eyes, and your Vegas glasses. You look like the most adorable Beatnik I've ever seen in my life. We had a good time while Mom shopped. She got you some cherries, and you even offered me one!

Then on the way out of there, we stopped by this little French coffee shop, because the shop lady was at the market handing out coupons for free coffee with purchase of a pastry. Coffee and pastries? We were all down. I wondered if you'd want anything, but here you are saying 'YEAH I WANT SOMETHING!'

So we took a look through the pastry cases, and I gotta say they were all looking pretty darned good.

After the pastry and coffee, time to head to the fountain! This must be just about your favorite activity in the world. Pennies in the fountain... You are very good at it.

You can barely tell here, but your Mom is so nice she's holding you way up above her head just so you can get your little head above the level of this guy, and throw that penny in there...

So then we headed home for some yard time before the Faire. Before we could get out of the car, though, you needed a little driving time, followed by a little hide-and-seek time. You still aren't very good at hide-and-seek, you haven't figured out that just because you can't see us, it doesn't mean we can't see you!

Then, to the backyard and beyond! Well, just to the backyard. It was a nice sunny day, and it was time to play with your wagon and rocks.
These are your black shiny rocks, which you collect and, today, made a caterpillar on your table.
And then, well, we just got a bunch of close-up pictures of you that look really cute, so I'm gonna go ahead and post them.
Darn, you are a cutie. After we made some lunch for the road, we needed some cash for the Faire so we hit the ATM. And suddenly, the air was filled with the roar of motorcycles! Lots and lots of them. You were in hog heaven, so to speak...

Lots and lots and lots and lots of motorcycles! You were waving at them, they were waving at you, and we had a grand old time.

We still don't know what the parade was all about, I'll have to look that up. But sheesh, there sure were a lot of bikes on parade in Redwood City today!

They kept going and going and going...

And going and going and going!

Finally, the parade was over and it was time to get in the car, and head up to San Mateo. And THAT is a topic for another post... Coming up next, the DIY-fest of the Maker's Faire!
