Cousins

It is always exciting to see your cousins. A few weeks ago we got a visit from all four of them at once! Aunt Heidi and Joanna were here too, and we got to have a slumber party! But first things first, you took them into the basement to find your toys... By the way, there are more pictures in the gallery than are posted here, so click the link below to go see all of them...

With four kids (not counting Uncle Sean) to feed, even lunch is a hectic event for the Leonards. I don't know how she does it. And Joanna is wonderful with the little ones, even the bigger little ones! Still, the chaos was really something to behold.

After lunch, it was present time! They brought you a present for your third birthday, and Emma was nice enough to help get you started.

A cool tea set! You and Owen got down to business, at this point Emma needed to find something a little more mature to do, probably reading a science book or something!

Little Owen is getting so big. He was demonstrating his mad skills when it came to building towers with blocks. This one was almost as tall as he was. He thought it was taller than he was, so we had to take a measurement break. Nope, ALMOST as tall as you are, Owen!

And NOW it is taller than you, Owen!

Of course the little ones, Jack and Lucy, are just about as cute as can be...

You got to take them to the park, and Emma was nice enough to spin you around, and around, and around, and around, and around! That is your favorite thing to do at this park, so we sure appreciated Emma taking that much initiative.

Here is a shot of the three of you, all on the same teeter totter thingy. Pretty cute.

Here is Joanna pushing Lucy on the swing, while you are doing a pretty good job of distracting both of them. It was quite sweet how you wanted Lucy and Jack to do all the things you do, not realizing they are just a little bit smaller than you!

Giving up on Lucy and Jack, then you turned your attention to Owen and the sand box.

Unfortunately, the big event of the weekend was cooking out for all of us, plus Grandpa Dale, plus cousins Katie and Joe, but I didn't get any pictures! Too busy cooking. But hey, if I thought lunchtime was chaotic for a family of 7, plus a family of 3, then add a few more into the mix and serve with a liberal dose of wine and beer! It was something else.

After dinner, Owen was pretty excited to see some star wars cartoon, and Emma liked it too. Check him out, all business but with your little winter hat on!

Owen is way into the Star Wars, so I decided to send him home with a little something. This was my very own Darth Vader head, large enough to stuff full of action figures. I had a bunch of figures in there, but unfortunately most were broken, missing pieces, etc. Still, you appear to be a little bit excited.

It was SOOOO nice to have your Aunt Heidi and cousins here, even if it was only for one night. We'll all be together again for Christmas in Orlando, I can't wait!

This was so much fun Bri, but believe me, one night is probably plenty of the Leonards. Even Emma's friend Taylor who was over spending the night (who has a little sister) said..."Man, it's LOUD here." We love you guys. These are so super cute! Heid
