Dells. Water Park. Woah.

Really, I haven't even gotten pictures posted from the Dells?? That was, like, weeks ago... We went to a water park resort, it was the make-up trip from when we had reservations earlier this year, and couldn't go. Well we went this time, I wonder if you liked it...

Yup - you like it all right. They had about forfty water parks at this single resort, but we got the inside scoop and stayed at that resort's condos across the lake.

Water water everywhere, and you had such a blast. Still talking about it, but lately when you bring it up you ask if we can go again, but this time stay for 10 days. Hmmm. Anyway, you did water parks. You did water slides. You did lazy rivers!

There were ducks, bears, swings, floats, pools, tubs, all kinds of water. No shortage of stuff to do, so we didn't push you on any bigger stuff. But there was one purple water slide you were really interested in trying out. And you rocked it! Several times. It took a few walks up the stairs before you mustered the nerve to do it, thanks to two really nice girls who helped you out. Then you splashed down into the bottom of the slide, just about imploded with excitement, and did it again. And again. And again. And again...

They even had a little beach, and we took a walk over there. You chased the ducks and wrote your name in the sand. You are becoming a good little speller!

For dinner, we went to a lodge kind of place and they gave you a set of moose antlers. And you loved the things. Wore them at dinner, that night, the next morning, at breakfast, in the car, and for several days afterward. You are one funny kid.

Anyway, it was a really fun trip and you really got into the water slides. My little thrill seeker. There were lots of little stories from this trip, but it was so long ago and there have been so many adventures since then, and it is late. So go check out the pictures from the weekend in the gallery linked above, and I promise I'll catch up soon with trips on the green bike, school starting, summer turning to fall, and some of the grief you are giving your Mom and I.
