I've been focused on relaying activities, displaying cute pictures of said activities, trying to capture the highlights and, well, documenting Maya's activities. But instead of documenting the chronology, let's take a look at you and how you have CHANGED in the last, oh, half your life. How old are you in this set? Do you see any differences??

You used to not eat. You drank, but no eating. That has certainly changed a little bit.

You love music. Live music especially. I'm glad your mom listens to the radio with you, and her crazy channels on the TV with her oldies and her jazz and her whatever else she plays for you. In fact you have seen a lot of live music, come to think of it, from those two old guys at Pasta Pomodoro to seeing Drums and Tuba in Golden Gate Park.

We went to Pichetti Winery, where your mom and I got married, to have a picnic and see the peacocks. And I swear when you saw them you talked, as you usually do around animals, with a distinctive 'bird' which is Mayaspeak is more like 'buwhaa' and different than 'cat' which of course is 'khhuuuh'. Actually, most of the time animals are 'khuuuh'. But it is amazing and also hilarious to watch.

Anyway, while we were there we saw the golf cart. Our golf cart. Well not really ours, but on our wedding day as we were walking away from the spot we exchanged vows, Cuervo Dan stole that golf cart. Seriously. He jumped into that cart, somehow kidnapping your cousin Emma, and the two of them came tearing up beside us to whisk us all up to the reception in style and a cloud of dust. So I will call it Our Golf Cart.

But back to you. You are developing attitude. And more teeth. And the combination results in you not being happy 100% of the time.

But definitely cute 100% of the time...
Anyway, short and sweet but you sure are coming along nicely. A different little person every week, but the same sweet sweet baby.
