Yes, ok so it took me 3 weeks to continue this. So what? We've been busy. You've been sick, and now we're both sick too. I had a midyear sales meeting and kicked off a bunch of programs at work. You have been crawling like a fiend, drinking juice boxes like there is no tomorrow, and have been very busy biting everything you can get in your mouth, especially parts of your mom and dad!
So anyway, we left off in Chicago. Next we went to Iowa, for a McKenna family reunion! You saw your Great Grandma Edna for the first time, and saw lots of new people and people you'd already met. A whole bunch of 'Kennas! There were a lot of folks there, some of whom you met last time we were in town...
You also met lots of the McKenna babies - there are a bunch of them right about your age! You weren't very interactive with them, except for taking away their toys, but you got some toys taken away from you too, so it was a fair game.
And you got PRESENTS! You love presents. Mostly you love wrapping paper and boxes, but sometimes you like what's IN the presents too! Your cousin Martha got you the cute little alien finger puppets we've been playing with the last few weeks.
Then we made the trip back to Chicago... Your Aunt Gina made you laugh and laugh and laugh, and we stopped for sandwiches and looked at the corn. LOTS of corn...Between central Iowa and Chicago, the view out the window looks a lot like this most of the time:
