This afternoon after your nap we took you to the kid park to get some swing time in. You sure like to swing, and you sure like your Grandma. I know you continuity experts will be like 'hey, she's got a white shirt on in one picture and a black one on in the other! Just calm down, you'll see why in a minute...
So we're swinging and swinging. Note the SuperGirl pose, holding that hand out and the neck straight, for maximum height and velocity. You are very serious.
Well, not always SERIOUS, but you are very into your swinging, we gotta give you that.
And then it was GO TIME. You see, they have these big crayons at the kid park, but they aren't for coloring they are fountains. You've seen them, but you've never been in them before! Well, thas was going to change today. It was hot. Mom was in a good mood. Grandma and Grandpa were there to show off for. It all fell into place...
First off, you were so excited to get in there and get wet that for a second you forgot you couldn't walk yet! There you go, no help from Mom, off to the races.
Mission accomplished! Soaked, head to toe. With, by the way, a nice Ed Grimely I must say...
Time to get outta there. Had enough. Wet as a fish, it was time to dry you off, change you, and head home for the day...

ReplyDeletesometimes i look at miss maya and i can't help but think of emma at the same age. it's those big brown melty eyes. what a little saucy creature she is. we love to look at this and miss you guys.
ReplyDeletewe hope you like your b-day present maya, we went for crazy colorful. wear it to the gay pride parade...and if mommy doesn't like it she can switch it for some crazy tights or jammies or something.
