Miss Maya takes her first steps into the living room this morning, unaware that today is a very special day. I don't think she remembers Santa coming last year at all.
What's all this then? For me? Yes Maya, all for you! Some presents from Grandmas and Grandpas, some from Mom and Dad, and some from Santa himself!
A lot of presents, for sure. A whole wagon full of 'em! Not to mention, a whole wagon!
So many presents, mom had to help open some of them! Books, toys, games, stuffed animals, more books...
Making Daddy VERY happy, you went right for the car. Yes you are a car gal, that's for sure!
But not to forget about the wagon, you were pretty impressed by that as well. That's going to be FUN to take to the park, isn't it?!?
Wow, after all that, time to chill out on the couch and catch our breath - that's a lot of presents for one lucky little girl to open!
Then, back to figure out the car. One day in, we've already scratched the paint with Dad teaching you how to take corners really fast... And you pulled the clock off the dash, saying something about saving weight and you don't need to know what time it is when you're racing.
In fact, even when we switched the TV on to watch A Christmas Story, you found another use for that car - turning the living room into your own drive-in!
Merry Christmas little Maya! Tomorrow, off to Movieville to see your cousins and Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Heidi and Uncle Sean... Woo HOO! We'll write more when we get back! Merry Christmas!
