What's the holdup anyway, Havener? That's what they would be saying. After all, I am WEEKS behind and haven't even covered your trip to Chicago yet, let alone Orlando after that, and then there was last weekend when your Aunt Gina came to see you!
Well, first of all, when we got back from Orlando we got SICK. Not sniffly nose or sore throat, no, like SICK sick. You were down for a full week!
"What's that like?" they would say, never imagining Maya not feeling well, smiling, getting into everything possible.
Well, really, it sucked. You poor thing. We let you watch TV all day. Other than that, I think you'd agree that it was a long, painful, sucky week, and there's not really much more we can say about it!
Other than the fact that, even when sick, you are pretty darned cute. You had to go to the emergency room, and get pumped full of fluids because you couldn't keep anything down. And you couldn't play, couldn't run around, you could just lay there and feel miserable.
And we know how you felt, too. Your momma was sick, your daddy was sick, we were ALL sick. Yuck! We're SO happy you are feeling better, and you sure had a fun weekend when Aunt Gina came. So, tonight I will catch up on Chicago and Orlando, and try to get close to current. We're missing lots of good stuff! So, more to come, but I just wanted to remind everyone why we're soooo late getting this stuff posted! We're just happy to be up off the couch and feeling human again!
