So last weekend I got to daddysit when your momma needed to run some errands in preparation for our trip to Chicago to see Grammy Ellen and Grandma Suzanne. We decided to go to the park and play! Never a dull moment at the park. So, you got your crown and tutu on, and away we went!
Luckily the tutu didn't slow you down at all as far as the climbing and the running went...
You had no problem getting all over the playground, rocking the tutu the whole time...
Until we got to the sand. Then daddy made you take it off. Boooo! But you didn't mind too much, once it came time to combine your two favorite playtime media, sand and water...
Yeah, that was a fun day. Back to the house for a nap, and we made sure you and Baby Tad were comfortable in your beddy...
Later we thought it would be a good idea to take a motorcycle ride, but after you got your bird and your lizard on the bike, there wasn't enough room for us! So we had to teach them how to drive.
And what better way to cap off a weekend than to do it in style, with an ice cream cone! You still haven't really figured out how to eat ice cream, the way you do it involves lots of ice cream on the fingers, and licking it off. As usual, very cute!
You are a flurry of motion these days, we're having a hard time keeping up with you.
That's it for now... Still more catching up to do, including more detail on the sculpture gardens, watching some airplanes behind daddy's old office, going to Buck's with Uncle Sal, wow I'm really behind here. You gotta slow down, Miss Maya!
