Tis the Season to be Maya

First off, you are really enjoying this, your second Christmas season. You dig Santa, the lights, presents, making the cookies, eating the cookies, spreading the cookies all over the house, all of it. Every time your momma opens the front door, you run up and say "Maya got more presents!" whether or not any packages are on the porch. You are way into it.
So almost every night, we take a walk to see some Christmas lights, because you demand it. And let's face it, there are some quite intricate displays in the neighborhood.

You really like this next one, because they have candy canes and, as you are very fond of telling us, "Maya can eat 'em! (Schhhhhluuuuurp) MMMMMMMMMMMMMM, that's delicious!"

Then we usually walk back home, stopping at the house across the street so you can say hi to Rudolph the Christmas Dog. But tonight you had Gary with you. And you really wanted him to meet Rudolph. So we had to stop extra-long so you could hold Gary up so "Gary can see him, kiss him, and give him a biiiiiig hug. Awwwww..."

When we got home, you put on your cowboy hat and brought out your (ahem) horse, which at this exact moment you aren't riding, because "Maya can play him like a tuba!"

We were in for some more music, though, because you treated us to a concert on your keyboard.

Oh yes. Someday you'll read this and be glad this is only a photo and not a video. Except for the fact that the digi does take video, as you'll see on the next post. Ohhhhhh, yes. You love the microphone, and you LOVE to sing! Don't worry, I'll wait to show you this until all your friends are over.

I have said it before too many times here, and I really do try not to, but I think we have the cutest kid in the entire world!
