Top of the Santa to you!

This week, we had several craft nights with Maya. Several of the items were designed to be included with Christmas packages (SHHHHHHHH! Don't tell!), but one was done just for us. Cheesy as all heck, but from 3 feet away it actually looks pretty good, don't you think?? Not bad for $2 worth of foam, a Styrofoam ball, and a little glue!

Also, something strange happened over the last two days. You never look at the camera. We have to trick you just to get you close to looking at the camera, and then we only have one shot, because you don't fall for the trick again. Not so much the last few days...

You were running around this morning in your nice skirt outfit, and helping me make some pancakes. Some (pretend) pancakes that is, stirred with a piece of spaghetti (real spaghetti), and injected with something from your nurse's needle (actually a toy thermometer). All while singing This Old Man! Wow, that is some serious talent.

Here you are quite proud of yourself, after injecting the pancakes with whatever you were injecting them with, using your needle/thermometer.

And then a phrase very common around our house (but only when pretending to eat pretend food)... "MMMMMMMmmmmmmm, that's reawlly reawlly good!"

It was soooo good, you couldn't wait to share it with me.

Then we had a problem. Out of cinnamon! Although that isn't really a cinnamon jar, but what the heck this is make-believe after all.

Ok then, better run get some more!

Whew! After all that, time for some down time on the couch.

You are really excited for Christmas. We're going to write our letter to Santa this weekend, so he knows what to bring you. You keep bringing up trains and train tracks (good thing!), so we'll make sure to put those high up on the list. Ho ho ho!
