Anyway, since I'm not really going to post and rehash all of the stories from the last few days, here is a big slideshow of images to hopefully tide you over.
We've been having such fun, bittersweet as it is. You have ridden your first bike, driven your first golf cart, fed the fish, played with cars, put together puzzles, been babysat (babysitted?), ridden carnival rides, watched the sunset and the stars come out, taken walks, WHEW!
Your Grandpa Dale has had these ducks for a very very very very long time, and you absolutely love them.

We took you to ride a bunch of kid's rides, and this is what your mother called your 'I'm SO Proud of Myself' face, I couldn't agree more.

Oh, and for some reason, you really like sitting in this box of coloring books. And of course you love peeling crayons. And you love your 'Princess Crown'. So this is you, just about as happy as can be.

And, earlier today you did something very very very rare indeed - cuddled with your dad!

Also, something a bit more serious. In between you being cute and all the activities, we have launched a social network in memory of your Great Grandma Maya. It is open to anyone who wants to join. Not very many people have openly been invited yet (we've been very busy!), so if you are reading this and would like to see it or sign up, please check it out.

If the above does not work for you, try here: mayaweb.ning.com
Do we expect this to be the next MySpace or Facebook? Probably not. But I hope it is a place the family can post pictures, stories, and recipes from Maya (Grandma Maya that is), and stay in touch and connected the way Grandma always made sure we all were. Please do not be offended by lack of invite, we're still working the bugs out and changing up the layout, but there is some good content there now so if you'd like to check it out, please do!
