However, I can't find my battery charger, the SLR has hardly been out of the bag, we've been running hard, so it isn't like I've got a whole slew of new OkahPark photos to share yet.
So these are mostly from earlier in the move, when we were staying at Grammy's house and our stuff hadn't shown up yet. You'd gone to the zoo,
You hung out with Grammy,
And the donuts. Oh my freaky goodness the donuts. We've got to be careful about how we approach donuts. If we cut you off entirely, you'll just likely start off every morning in college like this:
This is the 'I Love Donuts So Much I Can't Even Use My Hands' series.
Yeah, kid, you really freaking like donuts.
Funny thing is, you only take little bird nibbles, and only from the top, and thankfully you don't actually eat a lot of donut, it is really all about the frosting and the sprinkles. You sure like yourself some sprinkles.
Anyway, eventually we got our stuff and we started sleeping in our new home. We set you up in the basement which is becoming the family room, and you wasted no time getting reunited with your costume box.
One day, we were in the kitchen unpacking things and realized we hadn't heard a peep out of you for over a minute. This usually is cause for panic. This time, you had decided your feet needed washed, so you stripped (almost) nekked, climbed into the big sink in our half bathroom, and went to town.
You had emptied out a good third of the bottle of soap, in the name of clean piggies!
And you've gotten to see Grandma Suzanne and Grandpa Dale. We still haven't taken the train to see them in the city, which is odd because every time you see a train you ask if that is the train to take to go to Grandma Suzanne's. How do you know??? Anyway, they came out a couple times and you even got to take a bike ride around with them.
Just as we were getting settled, your Momma's Grandma passed away, and we had to say goodbye to Nonni. Nonni's real name was Emma, and she was a really sweet lady who had even more pictures of you than we do! I hope you'll remember her, she was always so excited to see you and so good about keeping up with what you were up to. We'll really miss her.
