Farmer's Market in San Francisco

Today we went to the Farmer's Market in San Francisco. First we drove through 'The Old Hood', because you were asleep in the back but it took us 38 minutes of the 40 minute drive to get you to sleep, so we wanted to take the scenic route. I thought since it was the old hood I'd take an old-style picture.

Then we got to the Embarcadero, and mommy found us a good parking spot just like she always does. Mommy is magic. Today you were in for a long ride in the backpack, which you seem to like just fine.

When we got there the fog was still rolling over the Bay, so the Bay Bridge was kind of hazy. The Bay Bridge is just over the Embarcadero, which is important because later we would hear a lady on her cell phone explaining how she was down at Fisherman's Warf and they were looking at the Golden Gate Bridge, but thankfully she was corrected...

On the way there, we saw some REALLY tall ladies made of metal, and stopped to check them out. The picture barely conveys their amazing scale, they were some tall drinks of water.

But they ran out of ice cream so we went home. No, really, we were done there and had everything we needed, so it was time to split. You can really only take so much of the Farmer's Market, before everything starts blending together into one big-old organic shade-grown free range blur.

So it was time to take a ride on daddy's head on the way back to the car.

Little did we know, the A's were in town to play the Giants, and we needed to drive right through the middle of it. We sure saw some interesting characters though! Not very often you see that much green and yellow down by Pac Bell Park I mean SBC Park I mean AT&T Park.

So you were a tired little melon tonight, understandably. What an exciting Saturday!
