But really, Maya can't actually know that, right? She cannot know how much Daddy loves the F1 racing, let alone the shiny red Ferraris! And she can't possibly know how much Michael has impacted the sport Dad watches every chance he gets.
Yet, as she demonstrated over and over, whenever Michael or his car was onscreen, there was no playing, running around, pillow diving, looking at cats, squirrels, or birds out the window, pointing up at the sound of airplanes. There was only Schumi.
Goodbye Michael, love you or hate you it has been an incredible career and we are sad to see you go. Even little Maya, who may not know a lot about cars yet, but knows Ferrari red when she sees it, and she knows she likes what she sees!
