| From Bike Ride to the Park |
We watched the kids play soccer, played on the swing, and for a while there you stole daddy's glasses.
And in between the slides and the swings, you even got to slam down a little Appie Juice, NUM. We won't tell you this now, but you have been bottle-free for three days! We thought the day would never come...
We got home in time to play in the backyard and check out the blooming flowers, you are really funny when you 'smell' something, your face gets all scrunched up and you work really hard at it.
And you did a really nice job of helping daddy water the plants. Especially the cactus and the aloes.
I don't have the pictures off the camera yet, but the neighbors had a garage sale today, and they gave you a big box of magnetic letters which you love dumping out and spreading all over. I spelled out 'M-A-Y-A' with them and asked you what it said, and you responded with a very appropriate 'Maya!'. Of course, then I spelled out M-O-M-M-Y and asked again, and you responded again with 'Maya!' so go figure.
Daddy took a sweet bike ride on Saturday, up the mountain to the end of Alpine Road. Check out the view from the top!

My legs are still sore. I went when you were supposed to be napping, but it was not to be. You are not so good at napping lately, but no worries, you are still a little cutie! Momma took us to a great brunch place, quite a bit different than Buck's but they still had good bacon (whew). They have a big outdoor patio chock full of toys for little ones, and you had a good time playing with them. We'll have to go back soon.
