Maya's Holiday Party

Woah, all that work your mom put in really looks like it was worth it. You kids had a great time today, if the pictures are any indication!
From Mayas Holiday...

You and your two-year-old crew decorated cookies, made a gingerbread house, coated the living room in sugar, and got crazy today. The cookies were delicious. Or are delicious. I'm eating one right now! If they look so good you just have to make them on your own, you can check them out here at Tree's blog.

You got really into the frosting, to say the very least. Much like daddy, you are!

Your friend Faith showed her expertise and dedication to the craft, not worried at all about rolling up her sleeves and getting, um, dirty.

You and Tyler were focusing on the gingerbread house, which you guys built and decorated with great skill.

And, well, the results of these cookie decorations really just speak for themselves!

But really, what I think is the most funnest of all, you got hold of the frosting stirrer from the mixer, and you just went to town.

And I'm not joking about that one bit.

I'm glad you are getting so into Christmas (you saw lots of lights on the way to and from Sancho's, where we went tonight for daddy's fish taco and mommy's tortilla soup. And I'm real glad you and your friends had fun at your party. This weekend we hit up another holiday party, and we go see The Sippy Cups concert! Huge weekend, can't wait to take you to the show and see if you dance a little more this time!
By the way, you have a crown and magic wand. Made largely of foam, these things were great buys for the $2 or 3 we paid for them, because you love wearing your crown around, and where the crown goes the wand is sure to follow. You are the cutest thing ever.
